Vivid News 24: Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra is scheduled to hit Rajasthan today, and Congressman Sachin Pilot has invited everyone in the state to join him. Days have passed since he appeared alongside Ashok Gehlot in a rare display of togetherness, despite an internal divide and the Chief Minister calling him a “traitor.”
The pilot made a video to welcome the visit

In the video, Mr. Pilot is seen lacing up as several people, including kids, join him holding the flag of the country. He pauses when he sees a billboard for Mr. Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra and inquires, “Rahul Ji’s Bharat Jodo Yatra is taking place throughout all of Rajasthan. Can you make it?”
A prominent member of the Gujjar community had threatened to disrupt the Congress’s illustrious foot march if Mr. Pilot was not appointed Chief Minister. The former deputy chief minister, according to individuals close to him, had distanced himself from such remarks.
Mr. Gehlot called his former deputy a “traitor,” further escalating the rift. Mr. Pilot dismissed the venomous criticism and referred to the claims as “totally false, unjustified, and unnecessary.”
The Congress had said that the Chief Minister’s use of some phrases was “unexpected,” but the two leaders’ disputes will be ironed out. They were both referred to as “assets” by Mr. Gandhi.
Today, the Gandhi Yatra will cross into Rajasthan from Madhya Pradesh. On Monday morning, Gandhi will begin the Rajasthan leg of BJY from the Kali Talai neighborhood in Jhalawar, which is located in BJP leader and former chief minister Vasundhara Raje’s Jhalrapatan seat.
In 17 days, the Bharat Jodo Yatra will travel through the districts of Kota, Bundi, Sawai Madhopur, Dausa, and Alwar after departing from Jhalawar on Sunday evening. Gandhi is scheduled to speak to farmers at Lalsot in Dausa on December 15 and to address a sizable crowd at Malakheda in Alwar on December 19.
