Vivid News 24: PM Kisan Samman Nidhi 12th Installment Date: Before Diwali, lights are in the farmers’ houses! Because, before Diwali, the money of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme will reach the accounts of about 12 crore farmers.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer the 12th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi to farmers’ accounts on October 17. About 12 crore farmers will get Rs.2000. In total, about 16 thousand crore rupees will be sent by the Prime Minister to the farmers’ accounts on that day.
According to central government data, around Rs 2 lakh crore has reached the beneficiary farmer families of the scheme through 11 installments so far. Of this, a total of Rs 1.6 lakh crore was sent to farmers’ accounts when farmer families needed money during the Covid outbreak. And on October 17, through the 12th installment, over Rs 2.16 lakh crore will reach farmers’ accounts.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer the 12th installment to farmers’ accounts at 11 am on October 17, according to a statement from the central government. The Prime Minister will also address the ‘PM Kisan Sammelan 2022’ at the Delhi Fairgrounds on that day.
There is naturally an expectation in the farming community whether there will be any more good news for the farmers in that speech. E-KYC has been made mandatory for all beneficiary farmers to prevent fraud and bring transparency to the entire process of availing of scheme benefits. Incidentally, PM Kisan is a scheme of the central government. It was launched on 1 December 2018. Through this scheme, total financial assistance of Rs 6000 per annum is provided to the farming families who have land. The money goes into the farmers’ accounts in 3 installments a year.
Last May, the Prime Minister sent the 11th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme to the farmers’ accounts. A total of Rs 21000 crore was transferred to the accounts of around 10 crore farmers under the scheme at that time.
To check whether your name is included in the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, you first need to visit the ‘Farmer Corner’ section of the pmkisan.gov.in website. There you have to click on ‘Beneficiary List. There you will see 2 options.—Mobile Number and Registration Number. After entering the mobile number there, click on ‘Get Data’ with a captcha code to get the required information.
