In the first episode of her series Moving In With Malaika, Bollywood actress Malaika Arora recently broke down in tears as she reminisced about her choice to divorce her ex-husband Arbaaz Khan. The actress disclosed that she was the one who asked Arbaaz Khan to marry her during her conversation with Farah Khan.
Malaika went on to say that she decided to get married to Arbaaz Khan when she was quite young. She continued by saying that she simply desired marriage to “get out of the house.”
The actress claimed, “I am the one who asked Arbaaz to marry me. No one knows. Arbaaz did not propose to me. The situation was reversed. The words I used were, “I married Want to.” Are you ready?’ He (Arbaaz) lovingly turned to me and said, ‘You choose the day and the place.’

Malaika added that Arbaaz has been a very devoted husband because he has always stood by her during her difficult moments. The actress recalled a time in her past when she had to get surgery due to an accident.
She continued by saying that Arbaaz was the first person she saw outside the room after exiting the operating room because the actor was waiting for her. And when asked about the basis for their divorce, Malaika finally responded, “I was very young.
I also modified it. I have several aspirations for my life. And I believe that we are genuinely better individuals now. Malaika went on to say that everything was OK up until the premiere of Dabangg but quickly turned bad. She claimed that upon their release, the two were increasingly irritated and began to drift apart.
In 1998, Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan got married. They announced their separation in 2016 due to compatibility concerns after many years of marriage, and they obtained a divorce in 2017.
