Lok Sabha Election 2024 survey prediction, PM Narendra Modi’s chair will remain or Congress will return?

Vivid News 24: As the Lok Sabha elections in 2024 get near, Narendra Modi continues to be India’s top contender for the position of Prime Minister. The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance is predicted to win 284 seats if the elections were held today, according to the most recent Mood of the Nation poll by India Today. Meanwhile, 191 seats for the Congress are anticipated to be won.

With 52% of voters in India supporting his government, PM Modi is still the favorite to become the country’s next prime minister. Amit Shah, the home minister, Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, and Nitin Gadkari, the minister of the union, are three more BJP candidates who are making waves.

Rahul Gandhi, a Congressman, was predicted to become the future prime minister by 14% of voters. 37% of respondents believed that while the protracted Bharat Jodo Yatra had generated attention, it would not be used to influence elections as the Wayanad MP was wrapping it up. While 13 people labelled it a “rebranding exercise for Rahul Gandhi,” about 29% seem to think it is a terrific exercise for mass connect.

Gandhi and fellow Congressman Sachin Pilot have been dubbed the finest leaders to reinvigorate the Congress, even though the C-voter list suggests that the Congress would extend its tenure on the Opposition benches. Gandhi received 26% of the vote, which suggests that he has gained ground recently.

Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, received 24% of the vote, making him the most qualified candidate to head the opposition. Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, is next with 20%, followed by Rahul Gandhi with 13%.

67% of those surveyed approve of how the Modi government has performed as it enters its tenth year in office. Approximately 72% of respondents indicated that they were happy with the PM’s performance on an individual basis. Since August of last year, the number has climbed by 11%. The percentage of those who were “dissatisfied” with the BJP-led government also significantly decreased in tandem.

According to C-voter data, many people think that the handling of the COVID-19 epidemic (20%), the repeal of Article 370 (14%) and the construction of Ram Mandir (12%), were the NDA government’s greatest successes. Contrarily, 8% of respondents believe that the NDA government’s handling of the pandemic was its largest failure.

The study found that 25% of respondents saw “price increases” as the worst failure, while 17% pointed to “failure to address unemployment.” There were 35,909 respondents in the Mood of the Nation survey from all Indian Lok Sabha segments. Additionally, it used more than 100,000 interviews from the ongoing C-voter tracking data.
