Jaya Bachchan says, “Educated Women Have Double Standards”

Vivid News 24: Actress-MP controversy once more remarks made against women by Jaya Bachchan. The deception among educated women is widespread. It is regrettable. Women work against themselves. I’ve said it previously. However, I was never allowed to express it. Jaya recently joined her daughter Shweta and granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda for a podcast event.

It was there that the granddaughter Navya went to ask a question about men. Amitabh Gharani stopped him midway and made this comment about girls. Incidentally, Jaya Bachchan has been involved in controversy several times before due to various comments. This time, a debate has started on his daughter-granddaughter’s podcast.

Earlier, in an episode of the podcast, Shweta had commented on mother Jaya. There she claimed, “A woman must help another woman. One should sympathize with him.” After that, Jaya said, “I always behave well with my granddaughter. I help women and advise them to help others. The mother-daughter thing is always different.

There is no need to talk about that.” On the other hand, Shweta Bachchan brought up a quote from famous writer Madeleine Kay Albright on the occasion. “There is a special place in hell for women who do not help others. Charity should start at home.” Jaya felt annoyed by her daughter’s statement on the podcast. He asks Shweta to ‘shut up.

In that podcast, Shweta also made explosive comments about the relationship between her daughter and granddaughter, saying that Navya was used as a punching bag. On the other hand, Amitabh Gharani is also uncomfortable with the words of their granddaughter Navya.

“There is no difference between Maa Shweta and Dida Jaya. Both are almost identical in nature.  I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I am the deer standing in front of the headlights of the car. No fault of mine though. But I have to go with it.” Jaya’s granddaughter said in the podcasting event.

Shweta Bachchan scolded her daughter for making such comments in the podcast. “You haven’t learned where to stop yet,” he said. Shweta Bachchan also expressed some annoyance.
