He also said that an investigation has been started into the incident. The Dhar Superintendent of Police also warned that necessary action would be taken against the Congress MLA if found guilty.
Meanwhile, a political row has started after the rape allegations against Congress MLA Umang Singhar of Gandhwani. Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee media department chairman KK Mishra said he had no information about the case. He claimed that this charge was leveled against the Congress MLA from Gandhwani for political gain. He also alleged that the ruling party of Madhya Pradesh, BJP, is behind the incident.
Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra said in a video statement that the case was registered against Singer based on the complaint of the accused Congress MLA’s wife.
