Vivid News 24: On Wednesday, Apple released its most recent software upgrade, iOS 16.2, in India, allowing its users to join the 5G future. However, the update adds a number of new capabilities to the iPhone in addition to 5G connectivity.
Apple has released a whiteboard-like tool that allows users to work with others and allow others to amend the files. This was first revealed at the WWDC event earlier this year, and it is now finally available. It is easy to use because it is a board on which you may draw shapes and lines, add media, attach files or notes, and annotate information.
End-to-end encryption for iCloud data
With this update, Apple continues to prioritize privacy, launching end-to-end encryption for iCloud data along with a new Advanced Data Protection mode. This function encrypts and locks all emails, contacts, and calendar events that are synchronized to iCloud. Apple and anyone who attempts to decrypt the data are likely to find gibberish.
After the technology was abused during the protests, Apple recently prohibited AirDrop usage in China. This restriction is now universal. The file-sharing capability will now only be available for 10 minutes for “everyone.”
The most recent update added a karaoke option. The function, called Apple Sing, will be accessible to all users with iPhone 11 and higher, as well as iPad and Apple TV. To separate the vocals from the music track, it combines improved real-time lyrics synchronized for karaoke with on-device machine learning.
Additionally, it distinguishes and emphasizes background vocals to improve the ensemble performance. The lyrics, which Apple refers to as “beat-by-beat,” will make Karaoke simpler when using Apple Music.
Local news stories are now displayed in a separate news area of the Weather app. Apple is also introducing widgets for sleep on the home screen. You can learn about recent sessions and stages using these widgets. You may immediately view the medication schedule as well.
Except for 5G in India, which is now available to users of iPhone 12 or later, and Apple Sing, which is for iPhone 11 and above, the updates are available to users of iPhone 8 or later.
