Vivid News 24: Amazon Prime Video has launched a new cheap plan. By subscribing to this new plan, the Amazon Prime Video app can be used from mobile for less than 50 rupees per month. The Prime Video Mobile Edition plan will cost Rs 599 to recharge.
This plan will have 1-year validity. Last year, Amazon Prime Video launched a mobile plan in partnership with Bharti Airtel and other telecom companies. This plan allows the streaming of SD videos from the Amazon Prime Video app on mobile.
However, this time any telecom customer can avail of the mobile plan by recharging 599 rupees. Any content on the platform can be streamed by recharging this plan. Customers will get the benefit of standard definition (SD) video streaming. However, to stream HD video from mobile, you have to subscribe to a monthly plan of Rs. 179. Also, the Rs 1,499 annual plan can stream HD videos from the mobile.

Apart from Amazon Originals, all video features including live cricket and X-Ray can be accessed by recharging the new mobile plan. There is also a download option for offline video streaming, Amazon has brought this plan to compete with Netflix and Disney+ Hotstar.
Even though Amazon Prime Video Mobile Plan has been launched for less than Rs 50 per month, you still have to spend Rs 149 per month to recharge your mobile plan on Netflix. Meanwhile, the Disney+ Hotstar mobile plan recharge costs Rs 499 per year. That means this plan costs Rs 41 per month.
Amazon Prime Mobile edition plan: How to recharge?
You can recharge the new mobile plan by downloading the Amazon Prime Video app from your Android or iOS device. This can also be done by opening the PrimeVideo.com website. Amazon gives the option to upgrade from a mobile plan to any other plan after recharge. However, the customer has to pay extra to take this advantage.
